Cursus beschrijving

Horticole campus provides all structures for students on site. French morning lessons from 9am – 12.20pm Monday - Friday. Our qualified professors offer an approach to teaching that awakens and develops the child’s interest in the French language.

Teachers apply an active learning approach that encourages communication in French through different pedagogic activities which are adapted for younger learners

WEEKLY PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES

One full-day excursion at the weekend (Monaco, Village des fous, Aquasplash)
A half-day excursion during the week (Cannes, Nice, Grasse & Fragonnard museum)
Two half-day activities (One sailing afternoon, Marineland, bowling)
Evenings (barbecue or themed meal)
A dance evening on our premises
Activities (games, cabarets, shows)

Accommodation
Students are accommodated on Horticole campus where they will reunite each day to
enjoy weekly events/games, meals, and our swimming pool. Spacious and well equipped
multiple bedrooms (2 or 4 students per room) with shared facilities. A short distance
from the beaches and city center of Antibes!

CAMPUS "HORTICOLE"
JULI AUGUSTUS
Horticole is een campus van 5.000 m² (1,25 hectare) ten oosten van Antibes, op 2,5 km van het stadscentrum en de stranden.
On-site voorzieningen zijn o.a. een 16-meter vrijstaand zwembad, cafetaria, tv-lounge, amfitheater en sportvelden (voetbal, volleybal, etc.).
De campus biedt plaats aan 200 studenten. Het wordt beheerd door het ministerie van Landbouw en biedt uitzonderlijke voorwaarden.
Restaurant, klaslokalen en slaapkamers zijn ook op het terrein.

CAMPUS "LEONARDO DA VINCI" (LDV)
JULI
De campus "Leonardo da Vinci" ligt ten noorden van Antibes, op 5 km van het stadscentrum en de stranden.
Ingewijd in 2007 en grenzend aan een dennenbos, biedt deze gloednieuwe campus van 37.000 m² plaats aan meer dan 200 studenten.
On-site voorzieningen zijn o.a. een 16-meter vrijstaand zwembad, cafetaria, tv-lounge en sportvelden (voetbal, handbal, basketbal).
Restaurant, klaslokalen en slaapkamers zitten ook op de campus.
Belangrijk: we kunnen de toewijzing van een bepaalde campus ("Horticole" of "Léonardo da Vinci") niet garanderen, ongeacht uw registratiedatum. U kunt echter uw voorkeur opgeven en wij zullen ons uiterste best doen om u tevreden te stellen.

"CHATEAU SCHOOL"
HET HELE JAAR
(behalve de zomermaanden juni-augustus)
 Gelegen tussen Nice en Cannes, met 25 km zandstranden en 300 zonnige dagen per jaar, is Antibes een van de sterrenattracties van de Côte d´Azur! Antibes is de op een na grootste stad van de Côte d'Azur met een bevolking van 75.000 in de winter en bijna twee keer zoveel in de zomer. Toch is Antibes nog steeds een klein en vriendelijk stadje waar u gemakkelijk uw weg vindt. Bovendien is het slechts enkele minuten verwijderd van Cannes en Nice. Studenten hebben de mogelijkheid om te verblijven in de Castel Arabel, die op 15 minuten afstand ligt van de school of om bij een gastgezin te verblijven.

"It was great fun, but one week is too short, my learning experience was too small"

I liked a lot the location and the kind of class. The teacher was very nice and friendly. The first day activity a walk through Antibes was also a good opportunity to get to know the others.

Unfortunately I my expectations about my French learning were not fulfilled but it was funny. My classification was too low.

"It's great to meet so many guys from all over the world but I haven't learned French"

I enjoyed meeting friends from all over the world.
I did not like the teaching of the French language which was not very engaging and honestly did not help me.
Didn't like the really low quality canteen.
The classes and the location were fine and were within expectations.

"A place were you experience interesting and new things."

Well, the Animateurs were great. They were young, funny, were always really nice and happy. Most of the professors were really nice to. I didn‘t really learn something new, I mostly just had a repetition of my knowledge. The school was big and had enough space for everyone. The location was okay. The individual activities were very good, but mostly a little short. The housing of my host family was okay. I slept two weeks with always one other girl. The space was not that big but since we were not there most of the time it was okay. The food was excellent! I was really happy that I could eat so good after a lunch in the cafeteria that wasn‘t great. The only things that I didn‘t line were the food on campus, the outgoing times and the hot classrooms.

Light cleaning takes place every day in the rooms, with thorough cleaning once a week (on Friday, Saturday or Sunday). However, occupants are asked to look after their room and to maintain a reasonable state of cleanliness and order.

VERY IMPORTANT: Student cupboards in the room do not lock. ALL STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN LOCK.
