"Not what I expected"

I signed up for "English for teachers" and expected to be among teacher fellows and to concentrate on the science of teaching. The "English for teachers" part was actually just the 5 hours private tutoring and the other 20 hours were spent in a group of people with B2 level. The classroom was too small but the book and the teachers were good. There weren't as many activities organized as the website advertised. The housing was a bit far from the school but great.

"LSI gave me a fun alternative to learn English."

I think LSI has an excellent team of teachers. Each of them have a different methodical manner to teach English.

The school is located in a good place. You can find different options to have a lunch. The problem with LSI is you can not take your lunch in a close place inside school, and also you do not have a microwave to heat the food.

There are many activities that you can take for free or paying a promotion price, and you can have fun with a lot with teachers and students.

I recommend this course to future students.

We kunnen geen visas voor studenten aanvragen. De school kan u echter wel met alle benodigde documentatie voorzien die u nodig heeft voor uw visa aanvraag.

Indien u voor meer dan 11 maanden in de VK studeert, zult u een referentie nummer ontvangen genaamd Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) die u bij de VK ambassade in dient te leveren samen met uw Standaard Studenten Visa aanmeldingsformulier. Studenten die succesvol een talen cursus gereserveerd hebben en die hun kosten betaald hebben zullen een CAS van LSI Brighton ontvangen. Let aub op dat UK wet aangeeft dat een CAS alleen aan studenten gegeven kan worden die Engelse taal studies willen gaan doen die meer dan 11 maanden duren.

Indien u voor 11 maanden of minder in de VK studeert, dient u een speciale bezoeker's visa aan te vragen genaamd Student Visitor Visa. Als student bezoeker, zult u niet in staat zijn part-time te werken terwijl u studeert. Indien u van plan bent om 11 maanden of minder in de UK te studeren, zal een acceptatiebrief naar u gestuurd worden tegen geen extra kosten. Indien u uw documenten via express post wilt ontvangen zult u £ 85 in rekening gebracht worden bij uw registratie.

Vlucht en airport transfer

U kan van het vliegveld worden opgehaald. Indien u opgehaald wilt worden, geef ons uw vlucht informatie en aankomst datum. De prijs van een enkele reis ophaal vliegveld transpoirt is £ 120. U moet uw vliegveld transport van te voren reserveren.

"Does a student have to book this course without accommodation?"

Unfortunately, as with our other schools, the only possible option is to have the full residential program.

The Brighton Summer Camp (BISS) for ages 5-10 years has sold out but the Dolphin Course for 11-15 years old has still got some places available. Please bear in mind we only offer the family program only if an adult takes a course with us. We do not offer sailing nor surfing classes for kids. However there are plenty of Centers in Brighton that offer this service. My advice would be to search online for what's on offer.

Unfortunately, we only organize the Dolphin courses for Under-16s if a parent is studying with us at the main school. Dolphin is not part of LSI, so this is just a service we provide to encourage parents to study here while their children are taken care of. However, if it is just the 11 year old, you could contact Dolphin yourselves and they will be able to arrange everything
