Cursus beschrijving

The Residence Course is the ideal choice for all those who wish to spend most of the time with their fellow classmates and who are interested in an extensive leisure time and sports program. Together with the DID staff the students stay in a nice youth residence which has been reserved for our participants. With 24 lessons per week all participants will quickly make good progress and are trained intensively.

Students taking this course can expect to be offered a comprehensive cultural, sports and free time program as well as German courses.

School beschrijving

Onze residentie in Höchst is gevestigd in een voormalig middeleeuws klooster dat gedurende de rest van het jaar dienst doet als conferentiecentrum voor de Protestantse Kerk. In de zomer is het helemaal van jou en van je vrienden. Voor de zomermaanden juli en augustus hing het deutsch-instituut de hele zaal met klaslokalen, slaapkamers en een grote vergaderzaal, evenals recreatieruimtes en een groot park. Er zijn faciliteiten om te voetballen, basketballen, barbecuen of gewoon lui in de zon liggen. De tweepersoons- en driepersoonskamers zijn zeer comfortabel. Er zijn badkamers met wc en douches op elke verdieping. En om voor onze deelnemers te zorgen, is er op elke verdieping ruimte voor een persoon die de leiding heeft.

"I had a lot of fun with the friends I made"

The classes were okay and the teachers were nice but I didn't take a placement test so the class was a little too hard for me. he students were playing on their phones a lot which I thought shouldn't have been allowed. It was nice to be able to go to town and buy stuff. I wish there had been more organized sports competitions like a volleyball game or something. Maybe we should be able to sign up ahead of time for the activities we like. I really had fun with the outdoor water balloon fight, going to the swimming pool, roasting marshmallows, having a barbecue, the talent show, and the treasure hunt. I wish we had been allowed to go back to the room after we were done eating instead of waiting for 30 minutes doing nothing. We should have been allowed to have WiFi because we had it anyways on our phone but it just made it more expensive for us to use it. There seems to be a lot of curse words used by students and teachers. I was not used to that so it shocked me. The food was okay but some was dried out like the couscous was dried out and had no flavor.

For the summer months June, July and August did deutsch-institut rents the monastery that includes high standard classrooms, bedrooms and a big assembly hall as well as leisure rooms and a large park. There are facilities for playing football, basketball, for having barbecues or simply lying lazily in the sun. The double, triple, and four-bed rooms are very comfortable. There are bathrooms and showers on every floor. Students are provided with bed linen and bath-towels. Laundry service is provided once every two weeks.

Uw acceptatiebrief zal gratis naar uw huisadres per normale post worden gestuurd. Indien u uw documentatie per express post wilt ontvangen zal 75 € in rekening gebracht worden bij uw registratie.
