Cursus beschrijving

Are you looking for a career change? Are you looking to travel abroad? Do you wish to teach English in South Africa at one of the language schools for foreigners?

The Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) is a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course administered by Cambridge English Language Assessment. In contrast to other TEFL courses, CELTA certification is recognised world-wide.

CELTA certified teachers from South Africa are highly appreciated at English language schools around the world.

What to expect on the course?
- CELTA is the best-known and most widely obtained qualification in the field of English language teaching to adults. The course is designed and closely monitored by University of Cambridge English Language Assessment, and on passing the course, trainees receive a certificate from Cambridge as well as a report from the centre detailing the trainees’ areas of strength and weakness.
- The course is both practical and theoretical with extensive, closely supervised teaching practice followed by both written and oral feedback.
- Trainers are highly qualified and experienced, and approved by Cambridge.
- There is a maximum of 18 trainees per course, divided into two or three Teaching Practice (TP) groups.

Bij Good Hope Studies is het geven van lessen van een hoge standaard onze prioriteit en ons doel is dat onze klanten Kaapstad verlaten met meer zelfvertrouwen en een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal. Om deze lessen te ondersteunen, bieden we accommodatie en een sociaal programma, en veel van onze klanten gebruiken deze diensten om hun Engels te oefenen.

De meeste van onze leraren zijn in vaste dienst en hebben CELTA- of DELTA-onderwijskwalificaties van Cambridge ESOL. Ook hebben ze jarenlange ervaring met het lesgeven aan verschillende nationaliteiten en niveaus en weten hoe ze leren niet alleen leuk, maar ook zeer effectief kunnen maken.
