Cursus beschrijving

The Residence Course is the ideal choice for all those who wish to spend most of the time with their fellow classmates and who are interested in an extensive leisure time and sports program. Together with the DID staff the students stay in a nice youth residence which has been reserved for our participants. With 20 lessons per week all participants will quickly make good progress and are trained intensively.

Students taking this course can expect to be offered a comprehensive cultural, sports and free time program as well as German courses.

Included in the price:

Duits leren is nergens spannender dan in Berlijn! De Duitse hoofdstad heeft zich binnen slechts enkele jaren weer ontwikkeld tot een echte metropool. Berlijn is zeker niet mooi, niet elegant en glamoureus - maar het is cool en trendy, vol afwisseling en zo verfrissend anders dat je het zelf moet ervaren als je wilt begrijpen waarom het zo aantrekkelijk is voor zoveel mensen. Als u kiest voor een van onze Residence Courses in Berlijn, ziet u niet alleen een fascinerende wereldmetropool, maar krijgt u ook de kans om mensen uit de meest verschillende landen en culturele achtergronden te ontmoeten. Wat is er leuker dan Berlijn te ontdekken samen met je nieuwe vrienden die je hebt gemaakt terwijl je Duits studeerde!

De residentie bevindt zich niet alleen in de meest centrale wijk van Berlijn, Berlijn-Mitte, maar ook in het culturele hart van de hoofdstad. Van daaruit zijn alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken. Van de Reichstag tot het kanselarijkantoor tot de Brandenburger Tor, elk is maximaal vijftien minuten lopen. De Potsdamer Platz, de Holocaust en de Berlijnse Muurmemorial liggen in de directe omgeving van de accommodatie. En met het centrale treinstation van Berlijn praktisch voor de deur (een korte wandeling van 5 minuten), kunnen alle andere attracties snel worden bereikt. Het woongebouw biedt alle voorzieningen: kamers met twee- en vierpersoonskamers met eigen badkamer en toiletfaciliteiten, een sky lounge met een spectaculair uitzicht over de stad, een dakterras, een grote tuin en de modernste seminariezalen.

The classes were nice but too easy for me and so sometimes boring, but I enjoyed the time with my friends. The food in the hostel wasn’t the best, and there was also the issue with security and people stealing money from rooms. The actual location of the hotel was very good as it was close to the public transport and park.

Also, the hostel was really great in itself regarding the facilities. The activities were very good the first week, but slightly boring the second as the museums we went to weren’t the most interesting( and the swimming pool was extremely full with people). I loved meeting new people and staying in Berlin, and being allowed free time, in which we also went to pride, and it was quite well organized in some aspects.

However, in other ways it wasn’t as organized as the supervisors did not communicate well with each other at times so some teachers would be kept in the dark.

All in all, I really loved the trip and it was extremely memorable.

This residence camp finds itself not only in Berlin’s most central district, Berlin-Mitte, but also in the cultural heart of the capital. From there, all of the important sites can be easily reached on foot. From the Reichstag to the Chancellor’s Office to the Brandenburg Gate, each is a maximum fifteen-minute walk. Potsdamer Platz as well as the Holocaust and Berlin Wall Memorial are in immediate vicinity of the residence. And with Berlin’s central train station (Hauptbahnhof) practically at the door (a short 5 minute walk), all the other attractions, such as Alexanderplatz or the Ku’Damm, can be quickly reached.

Participants sleep in four-bed rooms offering en suite washroom & toilet facilities. The guest rooms are cleaned on a daily basis – whereas bath towels are changed every four days. Bed-linen and towels are provided.

Visa assistentie

We kunnen geen visas voor studenten aanvragen. De school kan u echter wel met alle benodigde documentatie voorzien die u nodig heeft voor uw visa aanvraag.

Uw acceptatiebrief zal gratis naar uw huisadres per normale post worden gestuurd. Indien u uw documentatie per express post wilt ontvangen zal 75 € in rekening gebracht worden bij uw registratie.

Vlucht en airport transfer

Het dichtbijzijnde vliegveld naar uw school is Berlin Tegel Airport (airport_code).

U kan van het vliegveld worden opgehaald. Indien u opgehaald wilt worden, geef ons uw vlucht informatie en aankomst datum. De prijs van een enkele reis ophaal vliegveld transpoirt is 50 €. U moet uw vliegveld transport van te voren reserveren.

We don't offer this course for only one week and we don't offer it without housing. We only offer it as described on pages 52-53 in our Agent's Manual.
